I was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts.I received my bachelor's and Master's degree from Boston College. I have one son and two stepchildren and seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I have taught for 41 years. The last 12 years i was a college administrator. I am a Catholic, Irish and a democrat.
