Today On The Lake
Traveled from Green's to Lakeport and back today. The broads were like glass. We saw about 30 boats on the trip. We didn't see any MP. Fall is a great time to be out on the lake as long as you are prepared for the chilly air in the early evening.

Some Days are Special
Today was a "10" without doubt. No clouds, temps in the 70's, light breeze, and no weekend madness. I wish September lasted for at least eight weeks.

September is the best
We went over to Welch mid afternoon and stayed overnight. It was very nice. We will be back tomorrow for another night or two. This is our favorite time of the year on the island.

Green's Basin
Just wanted to say that I love the boat drive into Green's Basin, what a wonderful place on the lake. We've only been there a few times since we are at the very end of Paugus bay but a great trip in the early summer/fall when you just want to be out on your boat.

Jet ski travel
Green's Basin Girl, I am impressed by your long jet-ski rides to many different locations on the lake! Would that I could follow in your footsteps on these beautiful, autumn week days!

Point of View...
Even with the spectacular lunchtime view of the lake from the Castle in the Clouds restaurant, I could spot only two boats on the whole lake!
('Course, as flat-calm as it became around 11-AM, it wasn't a sailing type of day, either).
