Default Event-Opening at Moulton Farm this weekend

There will be a "grand opening" type of event at Moulton Farm the weekend of May 2nd-starting at 10am on Saturday. I read about it in the Laconia Daily Sun. There will be free tasty bites of Sal's Fish, tasty items from the bakery, a FREE loaf of raisin bread, seminars on gardening, etc., I have had the scallops from Sal's Fish that are sold at Moulton, and they are great. Plus... when Moulton's Farm opens, it means summer is almost here ... is the corn ready yet???

This is interesting... may have to check it out....

Was driving by last weekend and Noticed a sign (now grant you I was driving and didn't have a chance to completely digest it all) but the sign seem to indicate that the land is now in some sort of protective trust, I am assuming so that it can't be developed..... Does anyone know anything about this?

Along that stretch of Route 25 there's two open tracts of land with similar land trust signs; the large Moulton Farm growing field, and the Bushnell field. closer to the high school. Believe that the lower meadow tract nearby on Meredith Neck Rd is similar.

Something to do with what you said, about non-developement, agricultural, open land, or so?

Further down the neck, the town recently purhased a 500+ acre conservation property that includes Page Pond. Could be that may become the local go-to area for deer and turkey hunting? ....time will tell...?
