New Use For Noodle

Last Friday I had a small child on board the boat.His face was very close to the windshield.For a little extra protection I cut a swim noodle on one side and put it over the windshield.Now if he does hit the windshield he will still have teeth.

Here is what it looks like.
I am going to do this when I am running in rough water by myself.I have never hit the windshield but have been close.
May even keep water that comes over the bow from coming over the windshield.
Would need to cut to open windshield.
Can I patent that?
