Default Thanksgiving dinner

I suggest you look at any of the local and state-wide newspapers and see which restaurants are advertising Thanksgiving dinners. I don't know where you are, or what your tastes may be (and I assume you want turkey), but I can't help but think that any restaurant in the Lakes Region will be serving some form of a thanksgiving dinner.

Some offer a "family style" just for your table, and you get to take home left-overs, some offer buffets, some offer rather elegant multi-course dining experiences. So...I'm sure there is something out there for you.

I'm sorry I can't offer a specific restaurant, I've always eaten at home, and this year we will be traveling. If you have a pleasant experience, let the Forum know. In any case, have a very Happy Thanksgiving !!

Harts spends a ton of money every year to provide a meal at no charge to anyone who is needing one.Even people who are alone on the holiday are welcome. They have heated tents....even entertainment.....an incredibly generous thing to do.
I'm sure they are also open for business on that day.....and serve a darn good turkey dinner.

Default Wow!

I had no idea they did anything like that. Honestly. I actually feel bad now about posting some negative comments about my last experience there. (A to-go order that was messed up). Good for them. They officially have me back as a customer.
By the way...are they offering Tofu as a substitute??????????

Default Walter's Basin

Well I was up wandering around the lakes region today, reminding myself why exactly it is I work so hard all winter long, and stoped in at Walter's Basin in Holderness. They will be having a thanksgiving Buffett. I believe the sign said from 11 to 3 but I may be off on that.....

sa, its great that Harts does good for the community but it shouldn't be tied to having a bad experience involving getting meals. If something went wrong you have every right to complain. Maybe they'll get in right next time.
