Does anyone know af any marinas that I could hire to have my mast raised and lowered at the beginning and end of the season? I am looking particularly in the Alton/Wolfeboro area. I am aware that Fays does this but am looking for someone closer to Alton.

The big issue is installing it properly (e.g., correct shroud tensions). If you know someone with a crane, AND you know how to properly commission your boat, then you can do that.
Could you provide us with some more information? What boat do you have? Why is Fay's too far away?

It is a 21 ft sailboat with a 25 ft deck stepped mast. The big issue is raising & lowering the mast. We can commission it ourselves.

The good folks at the Wolfeboro Corinthian Yacht Club (WCYC) have a 30 ton crane and could easily accommodate your needs. We are more than just a club, were a full service marina as well.
BTW: All services are provided by Irwin Marine. |
