Default Modular Home Company

Hi All,

Can someone please tell me the name of the modular home company north of the lights in Meredith? They are on RTE.3 I believe just outside of the Meredith town line (or maybe in Meredith I'm not sure.)

Thanks.....

My mother is in the market for a modular and I wonder if anyone has dealt with or bought from Windsor Homes? Good experience or bad? Any other companies in NH anyone has dealt with? Thanks in advance for help!

I haven't had any personal experience with them but this company has done several homes on our island in the last few years.

Default White Mountain Homes

I just moved into a new home in Wolfeboro which I bought from White Mountain Homes and they will help you customize the home. Try them at 603-539-4345
They have been in the business for many years and are a second generation family business. Also, they have auto sales on the same phone number ask for Jeff or Chris Randalls.

I would get some plans and give a few local builders a try building you a home. I know a couple of builders that put modulars together for people and they do not understand the price people pay for modulars. They were great when every builder was booked for a year or two, now there are plenty of builders looking for work. Modulars are not all they are cracked up to be. When you go for a home equity loan or similar, the banks still ask you if it its a modular home that you own, point being that there still is a negative stigma with them. I would only consider a modular if the local builders were too busy and you were putting up a simple single story ranch.

IMHO

Default Thank You............

.......for your replies! I got some names of places we hadn't tried yet; New England Homes is right in my home area and we are researching them already. Puck, as far as "stick built" that's not an option, but thanks for the suggestion!

Hi, just inquiring if you have chosen a modular home yet. I'm interested if you picked NEH or not. We had a NEH (ranch) installed by their NEH contractor (Atlantic Blue Water) last May24,2007 and its still not done and furthermore, it failed occupance . Before you think of purchasing a NEH, check this one out first and I'll tell you what we was informed after we sign the "deposit" contract. Beware !!

Just Beware when you are purchasing a NEH modular home.
