Default Rain, rain, go away!

Based on what I can see on radar, and on local reports, I hope this current storm remains toward the south of New England. It has been POURING here in central MA since early this morning, coming down in sheets most of the time. They are talking 5-6" in this area over a 24-hour period. If it goes north, I fear all the water level reductions of the past week will be reversed!

Well the lake was down to 504.77'ish and now is back to 504.84'ish. At least it appears that'll I be getting some use out of these webs growing between my fingers and toes

ps - If anyone, and I mean anyone, mentions the "D word" this summer I'm gonna go postal on them

pps - And having mentioned postal, saw a wanted poster for this guy. Anyone seen him ?

I remember about '80 or '81, every single weekend was a wash.

Twelve weekends in a row were rained out. Pffffffft...... that 's the whole summer.

That's why I don't want to live there anymore, but I just can't tear my heart away from it.

All right dancers. I have a few questions for you.
1) How long does it take from when you started dancing for precipitation and the rain started?
2) If the lag time between dancing and results is known, should you be dancing soon for snow?
3) Can you dance for sun?
4) Please can you regulate the temperature request when dancing?
5) Should you try a new dance step for sun and calm waters?

Default Delayed Precipitation

We danced so much last winter.. but the result was delayed until spring.... just think how much lucious snow this would have been!!

Welcome back to NH FLBoater... stop by.

Default still raining

Its Saturday at 3 pm and its still raining here in Keene,I hope to get to the lake tomorrow but fear that the water will be running so fast in thr Weirs channel that I wont be able to get the boat out and in of the slip safely,it was not possible last weekend due to current and I guess with all this rain this week I'll be left at the dock again...In reality with the price of fuel and the high wwater level maybe its just as well, less impact on the lake and my wallet...Lets all pray for sun,I hope it doesnt rain again till Vetrans day!

I'm guessing drought. It seems like no matter how much it rains, come August at least one town will declare a drought emergency and curtail lawn watering and car washing.

Hummmm the question in my mind is.....can this dance be improved to either get results in the same winter.......or so that the delay is longer and the snow comes the next winter.....either way it is ok to dance.....I guess people just got to figure out what they are telling the Gods is all.....

I am trying to figure out this sunshine dance myself......but I don't seem to be getting it quite right.............
