Default SUPNH Losing Storefront?

I just saw a post from SUPNH in Alton Bay saying they'll be doing mobile deliveries this summer as there's "a need for another ice cream shop" in Alton Bay (clearly sarcastic).

Reading the comments, it sounded like Stillwell's might be moving to where SUPNH was, but would that be a second location or replacement for where they are currently?

Anyone know what's going on here?

Question Beach View parking lot, 53 Lakeside Ave, Weirs Beach

The Beach View commercial parking lot, 53 Lakeside Avenue, Weirs Beach, directly across from the Weirs boardwalk has about 20 parking spaces on their paved asphalt parking lot plus two small grass areas.

Maybe Sup-NH could lease two parking spaces with good visibility from the sidewalk and road and run their paddleboard rental business from there? Is a short walk across Lakeside Ave. down the stairs to the beach and the designated paddleboard put-in area which is to the left of the swim area, rope line. Weirs Beach town docks to the left, swim area to the right, and Mt Washington cruise ship further to the left.

Is a good sandy public beach spot in between the swim area and the docks with a smooth, flat, shallow sandy bottom for teaching on how to stand up paddleboard and launching a sup onto Weirs Bay, Winnipesaukee lake area.

Position a 20'-long x 8'-wide x 8.5'-high shipping container with large side doors ... www.containerpricer.com .... and a bright pink picnic table with an umbrella and you are basically all set to do a sup business, there! Sup-NH says helloooooo ..... ..... to Weirs Beach ..... is time to hit the lake water with a sup, a paddle, & a pfd.

Paquette Signs, Center Harbor will do you an excellent, high quality banner to display on that 20' container to promote your sup rental business.

This seems like an excellent commercial location for a sup rental business. Is busy and totally fabulous with a big lake view, and many lake-goers there to enjoy the big lake at Weirs Beach. Stand-up paddle boarders can paddle just out beyond the 200-yard long yellow swim line at the public beach and get onto the water to the left of the swim line where it comes into dry sandy shoreline area.

Maybe Laconia will want to suggest a ten dollar donation to walk-in paddle-boarders that use their wonderful Lake Winnipesaukee, Weirs Beach sup area to help make some money to pay for beach utility items with an optional pay box similar to Ellacoya State Beach in nearby Gilford.

Stillwells in Alton Bay is moving across the street and will take the spot from SUPNH. It was mentioned on one of the Alton Community Facebook pages. I hope this improves their customer flow. Their prior set up on those stairs was a constant traffic jam. They need a window for ordering and a 2nd for pickup like at Pop's.

Default

It’s my understanding that the building owner would not renew them in their current location which forced the move.
