Sewing - Tailor

Seeking someone who does sewing of clothes.
No. Not a custom made wedding gown. Just some hems and such.
Either a person or a tailor shop in the Lakes Region.
The previous dry cleaner in Meredith had a sewing lady back then. Gone now.

There is an excellent seamstress located behind McDonald's at the Alton Circle. The shop is located in the large yellow building. 19 Homestead Place. (603) 875-5329

This guy's pretty good. I've used him to hem work coveralls and my wife's used him as well. He's in Center Ossipee on Main St.

. . . the tailor near Laconia High School. Not sure of the name, but they ruined two brand new suits. Long story short, made a mistake hemming the pants and the rest was history. The owner was non-plussed by the mistake.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. I now go to a phenomenally expensive place in Boston (Beauge's Tailoring) but at least they do a great job.

That's a long commute. I have been very happy with George's on Elm Street in Manchester. He's been tailoring for decades! Highly recommended.
