We have been using the Dock Edge Ultimate Mooring Whips for about 5 years, and have been happy with them. They have a “rocker” base that lets the whips be completely vertical when not in use. This is especially important if you have a bimini on your toon because the whips will be completely out of the way while docking. If you have the more standard whip bases that have the whips protruding out at an angle from the dock, you are going to have a more difficult time docking without the whips hitting the bimini as you come and go.
