Saw the flat bottomed Marine Patrol boat go back and forth between Mark and Bear this morning...I'm guessing the blinking navigation lights are gone til spring!

I always have a hard time with this, on one hand I know the season is just about over and the really really cold weather is just around the corner, and should focus on (fall & winter chores) on the other hand if we get a little Indian summer weather there is a good chance I'll have the lake all to myself. It just seems like once the lighted navigation buoys are taken out very few people venture out. Like your picture implies you really feel all alone out there without those lights.

Saturday, Oct 27, 6-9pm, Halloween costume cruise, $58-each, tuna w/rice or roast beef au juice; the Mount's last paid ride, and the MP leaves some flashers on so's it don't get smashed into an island rocky outcropping ..... on a dark and stormy night?
It's just a three hour cruise ...... no navigation lights ..... just a three hour cruise ... https://cruisenh.com/products/hallow...ctober-27-2018 .... well, maybe just a couple-three nav lights ..... after 78-years the Mount is just like a horse that knows the route all on its own with no steering needed .... the big boat can steer itself!

Thanks FLL, Just a clarification for those interested. The menu will be: Tenderloin tips, and Baked Haddock. NOT TUNA OVER RICE... Also please be aware, that even with the Navigation lights removed Myself and Captain Duffey will confidently guide you around the route using all of our years of experience, and full compliment of navigational equipment! So please join us for the last evening cruise of 2018!

Oh ...... ok ....... thanks for the baked haddock correction ..... I must have confused sailing on the Mount minus the lake's navigation lights with sailing down the canned tuna fish aisle at Walmart without my eyeglasses, or something?
Excuuuuuse meeee young lady ...... can you puhlease tell me ...... is this tuna fish ...... or is this Alaska salmon ..... and, can we talk about it? ![]() ![]()
