mtmajorhiker Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2012 Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	Moose killed on Rt 11 last night I noticed that a full grown moose had been hit and killed sometime before 6:15 AM today (May 12), .2 mile south of the Mt Major parking lot. It had been hit very hard by a vehicle at highway speed, and I was surprised to find the carcass still lying in the breakdown lane at 9 AM after I had finished hiking Mt Major. Anyone fill in more details?
