Default Horror Movie Classic Double Feature-Wolfeboro

Hello all you ghouls and boys. Come on over to Wolfeboro this Saturday, October 17th for a night of classic horror at the Village Players theatre at 51 Glendon St. in Wolfeboro. (behind Rite Aid)

We are showing the 1931 Universal Studios picture, Frankenstein, and after a brief intermission, The Bride of Frankenstein (1935). These two pictures tell us the classic tales written by Mary Shelley of her lonely most mis-understood character, the Frankenstein monster. Join us as we watch the obsessed Dr. Frankenstein create a new human being with exhumed parts from dead people. And then as we watch the cycle of madness continue, as he builds his monster a mate, in The Bride of Frankenstein.

Our live host, Mr. Movie, opens each film with a fascinating behind-the-scenes commentary that will enrich your film watching experience.

** Note due to the double-feature we are starting at 7pm.

Tickets are ONLY $5.00 and are available at the door or on line at www.village-players.com

Classic stuff! I love both these films, although it's been awhile since I've seen them. I'm due again; wish I was up there. Pretty tame by today's standards.
Once a kid has seen Freddy Krueger or Halloween, these would just be comedies. Enjoy. (here's some fun "off the set" pics...)
