It is first article in the Blogs link above in this winnipesaukee website......with 26 mostly interior photos included. Wow....just look at that three-door boathouse!
It includes 7.1 acres with 841' frontage and a 3-bay boathouse ........ is it another tv-wrestler like Triple-H (or some celebrity?) with that meredith bay log cabin mcmansion? ....which could also be in this price range. It's no wonder why this here big lake is so so so very empty of any boaters ..... all the home owners are too busy having to live in multiple homes!

I am very curious to see who bought it. Not a lot of people can afford a place like that. Wonder if they will tear it all apart and redo it as most of them do??

Just read the article and it claims it's the highest price ever paid for a residential property in the entire state.

Will it be a nice summer home? For that price I think it may be year round.

That was the "home" that the French President stayed in a few years ago and wasn't it built for someone from Microsoft? Wonder what the cost to build was.
It is in Wolfeboro and the deed will be recorded in the Carrol County registry of deeds and their web site says "Our records are not available on-line for security reasons." Plus it had to be in a trust of some sort which is common for properties like this.

Bahre Mansion??
I thought the Bahre (sp?) mansion recently sold for $40,000,000 +??? Wouldn't that be the most expensive home sold in the lakes region??

This sale is great for the property values in the area and the seller still has the larger portion of the land yet to sell (the $8.9m sale only included the lot the house sits on, not the remaining 51 acres and 1500' of additional frontage)!
Was purchased in the name of a trust - Telluride, CO address. Wonder if they have seen all of the rafting yet in that cove??? While $8.9m is a very large sum of money, there are more and more high end properties in pockets nationwide closing at record numbers... |

Patiently, I saw that in the Registry. Do you have any idea who it might be? Somebody famous?

What does "lot options" mean with the different scenarios shown? Can you break it up and sell other lots off or something? Wonder who built it?

If you mean Appe's house, dpg, they built it. Jon Lovering was the builder.
