2014 Fuel Prices?
Heading out on the Breeze maybe this weekend and left the poor girl almost empty in the Fall. What are we seeing for gas prices this early part of the season?

Anchor Marine Maybe
Can't be positive but after zooming in on the Anchor Marine web cam it looks like $4.05 9/10 on the sign.

Full Tank(s) at Bedtime
Our dealer recommends that we put our boats to "bed" in the fall with a full tank of gas to avoid excessive condensation in the tank(s) during the off-season.

I was advised by the marina where we winter our boat to not fill the tank. I was told ethanol sitting for the winter is worse than condensation. I don't know which is worse. The tank was more than half full so maybe its 50-50.

Prices
Took my boat yesterday for a quick ride. Where was everyone? Irwin Marine was $4.12 and Lakeport was $4.01.

Most of the jury is still out on ethanol and condensation and how much should be left for storage. Ethanol phase separation will occur if not properly stored. I would rather only drain a quarter of a tank if the separation has occurred then lose 80 gallons of gas.

My mechanic
says it doesn't matter if the tank is empty or full any more as long as you have the correct amount of stabilizer.
Took a spin today and the engine just hit 1000 hours without a whimper!

My own observation
Checked at Mountain View Yacht Club and the price was $4.07. As far as leaving the Breeze empty or full....Stabilized fuel should be fine at the low level. I don't think it's beneficial to the hull to have the extra weight of 150 plus gallons of fuel resting on 2 keel blocks and 4 boat/jack stands for 6 months. When the vessel is afloat, that weight is supported by the whole hull. Just my opinion.

Until gas buddy gets online and allows easy listing of boating gas prices (I sent them an email last year, and they said they were working on it), let's not forget to update the gas prices here on our own:
http://www.winnigas.com/ This info is only as accurate as we enter it, so every chance you get, please update it, as it helps us all! If you have an Android phone, there's an easy to use app that accesses this available via http://www.appsgeyser.com/478321 You can see it here: http://www.appsgeyser.com/getwidget/...0Gas%20Prices/

I also added some personal text:
Please work to kill this in NH and then the nation. Isn't there something that we can do to stop E10 and E15 here in NH? I've already spent too much money repairing what this has done to my boat, my home lawn equipment and even an older car.
