In the sky, roughly in the area of sunset you will be able to see a Triple Conjunction. Tonight the clouds look to be a problem, but tomorrow night looks pretty good.
Sunset at Winni will be at 8.15, so the planets should be free of the sunlit sky sometime around 10 or 10.15PM Dan, If your on the island you should have a great view! http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/201...e-conjunction/

Clear view from Welch tonight. Venus first than a fainter Jupiter to the left and finally a very faint Mercury above Venus. Kind of neat to see. Almost set now.

Nice picture Steve! Kind of puts into perspective how large Jupiter is compared to Venus and Mercury, yet in the picture they all look similar in size.

Great photo Steve, while we got to see the show, did not have a camera up to the task of taking a photo of that.
