Kind of disappointed when we were supposed to get 2 feet of snow in Nashua, and it ended up going North. Pretty good though, school here doesn't get out till June 21, and we've had only 1 snow day! Everywhere up there was closed though, it even cancelled the skiing trip to Gunstock! I think we got mostly rain. Poor Mass has to go a whole extra WEEK in June!

I saw one report down here said 8 to 12 inches, and the weather channel said 24 to 30. They are pretty far apart. I figure someone there can let me know the truth......

School was cancelled up there i know, because they took all of our snow!!! LOL. I don't know exactly, but even Concord schools were closed. Channel 9 news (NH's news station) said there was going to be 10-12. Hmm. . .

Based upon my personal observation, the snow in the mountains was posted at 24 inches Lincoln area and northward. There was 24 inches in the woods, blown off the ski runs, but not much on the runs.
The lakes had about a foot of rather fluffy snow. Not much moisture in it. It will pack down quickly. This was a "news makers" snowstorm, much bigger on the news than in reality. However, it still was snow for those that like to ski in the woods. We have not had much to ski on this winter so every bit is very much appreciated.

The snow depths seemed to vary from place to place. We got 12-14" at our place in Tuftonboro. The birch trees were bent to the ground. We snowmobiled north from Tuftonboro and found that The snow depth rose as we headed up into the Ossipee mountains. We measured 18" easily on the edges of some of the trails. The snow consistency seemed to vary as well. The higher elevation saw lighter snow. Power outages were a problem. We lost power for during the storm and the house went down to 46 degrees.
