Is it just me or is rafting getting to be a real pain!?! On a regular day we can count up to 50 boats rafting in the cove next to our dock. From afar, it looks like a yacht club. I've also seen tons of boats rafting in other various parts of the lake. It also seems to get worse around the lake every year.
3 or 4 boats rafting in a area isn't bad at all, but when there's a whole line of boats all tied together, it gets to be an eye sore. ________ buy vapir vaporizer Last edited by KTO; 01-22-2011 at 05:08 AM. |

Lake is getting more and more crowded each year. As for rafting it is a great way to meet new people and hang out with friends.
Eye sore or not you've got to remember the lake is there for everyone to enjoy not just the people who can afford to own homes on it. Also as long as there are houses being built around the lake there will be more boats being added to the lake. And more unhappy home owners who realize after the fact that the water in front of their home has long been a favorite spot to hang out for boaters. But don't worry the best time of the season is here. ![]() ![]() |

While what you say is true, some rafters in some areas can be loud, annoying, and pains in the butts. But sometimes, I gues they can be friendly.

If you think about, some boaters that raft can be friendly, while others can be rude an loud, like the people who play their music at full volume. I don't mind sometimes, but when you can hear music that loudly (and sometimes that bad taste in music

That is what separates the courteous boater from the not so courteous boater. I will ask those around if my music is too loud when I’m rafting or even just anchored around others.
