As I sat eating my breakfast this morning, looking at the Sea-Tow pamphlet and muttering to myself "I'd better join, just in case", I never thought that today would be the day!
As I sat, at anchor, by the mouth of Sally's Gut, it didn't dawn on me that I had left too many electronics on, that is until I went to turn on my blowers and got nothing except my VHF chirping a "low battery alarm". Thankfully I had my hand-held and was able to get Sea-Tow to come out and give me a jump. Turned out to be the most expensive jump start ever, but now I am a member! Thanks to the Ruby C. for relaying my calls...not much range on my hand-held today for some reason! Hope everyone had as good a weekend as I did. See you next week! |

Jump pack. Don't leave home without it.
