Island Names
I Posted this in the 6 Bridged island thread but did not get a response, and seems it turned into another discussion.
Wanted to know on my mapping software at work - DeLorme Street Atlas, I know it is the latest edition just do not know the date. It lists and shows Christmas Island as Plummer Island. Do you think this is a mistake or did it at one time be named Plummer Island, and if so why. Does anyone know the history of this? Thank you |

Thank you
Thank for the info, but I was blocked from the bizer site here at work, so why did the name change and who was the island originally named after, if this was the case?
