My friend has a sloped driveway towards his double car garage. He's looking for some kind of trough with grating so the water can be displaced from in front of the doors. McMaster was suggested on another thread that showed having the grating but I couldn't find anything on a trough with it. Maybe I wasn't searching correctly. Is there anything available for this kind of installation. Are there any ideas that the forum could suggest to solve this problem. I was thinking perforated PVC pipe but it doesn't take all of the water away and may not be fast enough to do the job.
Thanks in advance. Dave M |

For your shopping pleasure:
http://www.wattscanada.ca/pro/_produ...62&parCat=1995 I know Home Depot used to stock a similar product with all the flexible fittings in the plumbing department. My impression (never tried them myself) was that as long as you didn't park on them you'd be all right.

I built one for my building at work and used some grating from McMaster. We built our own trough making forms and then pouring concrete.I have mine hooked to a sump inside the building.I'm sure you could connect the runoff to a drain of some kind.Been working great for 7 years.
