This morning's top story on NBC Today was the weather and they had a live reporter in Washington State for storm on that coast, then they cut to an MSNBC Weather Plus meteorologist reporting live from Meredith "With Lake Winnipesaukee behind me." Looked like he was standing at Town Docks restaurant. Of course they had him up to his waist behind a pile of plowed snow.

In Merdith at 900' elevation the first "spurt" of snow left 8.5" by 9 AM. The second spurt in the afternoon around 2 PM quickly left another 2.5" to 3". So, right around 11" as WeirsBeachBoater said.
Saw the NBC van an the Town Docks at 6 AM on the way to work. Figured it probably had something to do with storm reporting. Real pretty up here right now. Hopefully it continues to pile up this Winter!!! hilltopper |

This bald eagle carried some prey out to Black Cat Shoals during the height of the storm on Monday.
Here is a link to the NBC Today Show's live broadcast. It's a story with a video included in the upper right. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22054673/ |
