Default A day to celebrate!

Today was truly a wonderful day for our family. At 2:20 this afternoon my wife gave birth to our third child. Meredith Joy came into the world very healthy at 10 pounds 4 ounces and 21 inches long. Our two sons are excited to have a little sister to love and protect. The nurse in charge of the nursery said, after bathing Meredith, that she is a water baby (because she seemed to enjoy bathing). I couldn't have been more proud

Thumbs up Congratulations are in Order

Congratulations to your wife and you on the birth of your daughter. May she be the apple of your eye.
BTW does her name, Meredith Joy, have anything to do with your love of the lake? Certainly sound like it to me.

The name is most definitely connected to our love of the lake. I can't wait to show her it's beauty. It's too bad ice-out wasn't yesterday. I had originally picked the 18th (her due date), but she out guessed me

Great news!.. and a wonderful name! I seem to recall a post from you about a family celebration in Meredith last September.. and seeing a rainbow after a sudden storm..

Get ready Dad.. having a girl will change your life.. in a good way! Take it from one who knows!

Check this out! Looks like you picked a great name.

Thumbs up Congratulations and......

We welcomed our little girl Paige Elizabeth on Monday the 16th. Her brothers who are twin boys are so thrilled to have a baby sister. I can feel your joy as we are equally elated.

WOW 10 pounds!!! I thought we had a big girl at almost 9 pounds 19.5 inches. It is nice to have big healthy sturdy babies. Our boys were on the smaller side and it was so nerve wracking to have such fragile little infants.

The boys are all over her right now hanging over her bassinet trying to kiss her while she sleeps.

Congrats again!

Congratulations to both rinkerfam and hazelnut! Do I see some family traditions centered around birthdays and iceout in the making?

Wink

I think my annual Ice-Out guess will forever be 4-16 from this day forward.

It used to be the 27th which is my anniversary, sorry hon.
