I'm buying a piece of land in Meredith and I'm going to have a log cabin built on it but most log cabin companys only construct the "shell" of the cabin.
So I need a contractor to finish the project. Does anyone know of any in the Lakes Region area? Or better yet, are there log home builders in NH...all the ones I've seen in the countless magazines are spread all over the country except for New England. Thanks.

Call Steve Buzzota at 520-1778 (cell) or 293-4357. He owns Island Support Service but he may do some work on the mainland, especially in the winter. They are out of Gilford and his price was very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about him and his crew! Steve just finished my log cabin on Rattlesnake Island. He is awesome and did an awesome job. I also know he's built many others out on Mark Is. and a few others. If you want to see pictures let me know!

Try Steve Jones at Mt Lakes Contractors 253-9454.Steve built lots of really nice log homes in Colorado before he moved out east.He is also one of the most reasonable around.I saw a beautiful 3 story log home in Madison that he built out of cypress which resists bugs and rot...pretty cool house.

Steve did our log cabin as well, and is currently doing an addition and a new fireplace to it. If you are looking to do something over the winter this would be a great time to talk to him as he schedules his winters light as it is hard to predict ice for island projects.
What log home company are you using? Between Olivernh and I am sure we can point you in the right direction. We both used Riverbend. |

I hope self-promotion is OK
![]() http://www.nhloghomes.com I'd be happy to talk with you. We currently have a couple of homes under construction around the Lakes. |
