However, as stated above...buying out of state spirits is a different matter...

"The New Hampshire State Liquor Commission permits spirits, wine and beer to be shipped into New Hampshire so long as the direct shipper has obtained a permit from the Commission. The permit allows out of state companies to ship alcoholic beverages to citizens."

It would seem that permit is the issue on taxation?

The Plymouth Walmart did one hell of a good job with my customer return.

Changed my mind from Rit Dye denim blue to Rit Dye royal blue for reviving an oldie but a goody, Chuck Stearns waterski pfd vest, threw out the receipt, but the Walmart returns could process my return via my debit card and refunded my $3.67 in cash to me which I turned around and bought Super Tech carburetor cleaner aerosol spray for the snowblower.

Walmart-Plymouth NH has all the angles covered. ......
