Anyone know if The Clubhouse is open? I can't find any info about it online. We are looking for a dinner spot in the Weirs this weekend and I'm trying to see what our options are.

It is open, they opened last week. I don't think they have updated the signage yet so it still probably says Compass Cafe. We went opening night. I am close friends with the head chef.

The menu is still a bit limited, but expanding.

Wednesday nights are going to be a pasta night, which is his specialty. The penne a la vodka is amazing. Been eating that for years at his past restaurants in Dover.

With the very limited season , small population of permanent residents with a relatively low income , opening a casino around the lake would be a financial disaster. Locals are nickel slot people and that doesn’t pay the bills
