Default Nice place to stay

Although we have been staying at the lake for 16 years we have never stayed in a motel. This year my in-laws are visiting while we are up there just for a night, and our cottage doesn't have enough room for them to stay with us (darn!) Anyway, we are looking for a nice, fairly inexpensive place for them to stay around the weirs, any recommendations? I was thinking the Birch Knoll any feedback?

Default Suggestions in Gilford

If you are just looking for a room for the night, you might try B.Mae's, across from Sawyers Ice Cream in Gilford. Inn at Smith Cove is much nicer, probably more expensive, and accessible by water.

Bmae's is kinda high for 1 nite. I think its about 139 bucks a nite this yr. I would suggest Baytop and Grandview. Both are decent places with not to bad prices.

Default Summit Resort

Although not inexpensive at $250/nite, The Summit Resort is very nice and is close to the Weirs. http://www.summitresortnh.com/index.shtml

For some more reasonable rates try the Belknap Point Motel

Default Try Barton's

Barton's motel on Paugus Bay is very reasonable and very clean. Friends of ours who stay at Paugus Bay campgrounds always have their out of town guests stay there.
