Shibley’s on Sunday
This past Sunday afternoon we had the pleasure of dining at Shibley’s in Alton Bay. We were seated right away near the windows so we could watch the Mt Washington dock and then depart. Our server was right at our table to take our drink order and explain some of the seasonal cocktails offered. She took our drink order and appetizer order and was back in a flash with our cocktails. Shortly thereafter our apps arrived. She took our lunch order and that was ready right on time also. Food was great, drinks were top notch as was the service!! Don’t hesitate to try Shibley’s if you haven’t been or haven’t been in a while. We used to go to Sandy Point back when they were the “go to” place for lobster. It’s great to have a top quality restaurant in the Bay since there is no more Sandy Point. Shibley’s is great!

After 8 summers in the area, we finally got to Shibley's today. After an early start up Major, I was pretty hungry.
The combo plate, which I asked to substitute calamari for more other stuff, was very good and the waffle fries were tasty. I would put it on par with Pop's, if not just a tad below, but I was glad we went and have added it to our list of definite options for the future. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |
