Many service companies are having customer satisfaction issues.
Between covid absenteeism, covid precautions and a labor shortage it should be no surprise that the USPS is performing below its usual lack luster level. I think they should charge more for the parcel deliveries they complete. I saw an ad on TV for UPS hiring temporary delivery people. It offered $21/hr and a stipend for personal vehicle use. The USPS likely has similar labor needs not being met. Improved management can improve results but staffing shortages are a difficult reality today. |
