I agree that we all learn a lot from the Forum however, I personally would not want pictures of any mishap that happened to me posted on here regardless of what it "teaches" anyone. I think it puts the involved parties in an awkward position, they have enough to deal with the incident itself.

I agree, even understanding best intentions and sympathies from all, it would only make the matter that much worse for me knowing everyone else sees the details in such vivid and up close pictures.

Not condemning anyone here, just saying if this were me, I would prefer the intimate details of damage done to the boat not be broadcast to the world.

I think its enough for any of us who love our boats (and all boats) to say this is a heartbreaking event for the owner.
