Hi everyone, long time troller new to posting.
I am looking to hire a high end gardener to take of plantings on my property. I'm over in Bald Peak in Moultonboro and have had a hard time finding someone qualified enough to take care of such a large amount of landscaping. It's a couple of acres with multiple beds, lots of shrubs, and trees. I've contacted Stephen's Landscaping and didn't really like what their proposal was. I'm looking for someone that is hands on, will be on site and not just pawn off the work to employees. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! |

Are you thinking full time or just an hourly contractor? Sorry I don't have a specific recommendation. My experience has been that gardeners know what they do. Landscapers generally don't know as much about gardens or gardening. My daughter has both, and I'm headed in that direction. There may be a lead through a local garden club. If you have two separate contractors, one of them should be or have an arborist in the group, IMO. Otherwise your shrubs may get an unexpected haircut with a hedge trimmer.
As I type, it occurs to me that the UNH Extension Service may know of people who fit your needs. |

Thanks, but Im actually looking for a gardener specifically. While I think there are many high quality landscapers in the area I feel most of them don't have the experience I'm looking for when it comes to flowers and shrubs.

I would recommend Joanne at Birchwood Urban Permaculture. She doesn't mow lawns but tends quite a few upscale gardens.
