that was my reaction too..
![]() i put em on craigs for $600/pair. i doubt they'll sell, probably hard to find a buyer, but i figured i'd try before scrapping them. |

You may need to try e-bay or if you can find which boat used these rudders, find an owner's forum and post there. It may take some time to find someone that 'needs' these particular parts, so you may need to be patient to cash in on your bounty.

Or clean them up and perhaps some supply house that sells equipment to places that want to decorate with a marine motif may be interested in them?
I don't know if these would be worth more cleaned up, or left in their natural state. Good luck!

Maybe the Muddy Rudder Restaurant in Yarmouth, ME would trade for a few meals? Or hang them on their wall with a price tag like some places do with artwork? I once traded some Belknap College memorabliia to the Red Hill Inn for a couple of Chef Elmer's Kentucky High Pies. I think I got the better end of the deal, but they did display the sign I had.
You can donate to the NH Boat Museum auction. Somebody may buy as camp decorations. |
