I think certain gauges do rack up hours when just the key is turned on but can't say for sure. In terms of hours that your dealer put on it, I would think a couple of hours would be fairly normal. They are required by both the boat manufacturer and engine manufacturer to do pre delivery inspections and that includes a "shake down cruise" if you will.
