Bald eagle soaring along Long island

Tuesday afternoon spotted a very large bald eagle soaring along shoreline on Deerhaven Road...also a large pine marten spotted several weeks ago in area...Linda Corr

What a difference a few decades makes. I said to my 15yr old the other day " look there's 3 bald eagle's in the tree" he says" Who cares we see them all the time". I still get excited. Usually a large Pine martin = a fisher, They are making a comeback in Coos so who knows.
