Bear on Long Island
While driving today this bear ran across the road in front of our car. He hung out on the side of the road for a minute before disappearing into the woods.

I saw one on longpoint Rd and my trail cam picked one up in my yard not far from there.

I have seen signs of him being around since the spring...... couple of scat piles, and some trash thrown about..... He/she however doesn't seem to be interested in getting to close to the human element....
