Default Margate Beach Bar

We are always thrilled to see the opening of the Margate Beach Bar and the beginning of the summer on the lake. We have visited the Beach Bar a couple times this summer and I am very disappointed to say the food was far less than excellent. We have noticed the portions shrinking in the last couple years and that is understandable considering the economic conditions and the desire to hold prices constant. My first meal this year was the fish & chips. The haddock filet was ultra thin and overcooked around the edges. The next time I ordered the chicken parm sandwich and again the chicken filets were ultra thin and overcooked around the edges. The Beach Bar used to have one of the best lobster rolls around but I dare say I won't pay the market price for the unknown.
