Default New Aerial Photos

I had the chance to go flying yesterday and took along my digital camera. The weather was terrific and the views were spectacular. Here's my gallery:

Default I Love Aerials

Nice series, Throttleman. I am a sucker for aerial shots... I especially like the ones of my side of Rattlesnake Island.

Default Fabulous!

Throttleman, those shots are fabulous! It's wonderful to view the lake from the air, and get a perspective on how truly beatiful the area is, and how large! Thanks for sharing your obviously wonderful day. I'm insanely jealous!!!!!!!!!!

Talking Name those islands

OK, I took my best shot at the islands in the 3 photos that weren't specifically identified (Winni islands, More Islands and Moultonboro area). Now it's your turn before throttleman is called upon to remember where he was when he shot the pictures. Blame it all on flyguy ...

Thanks for the nice comments!! It was my first time flying over the lake and I was awestruck!! From high above the views of the lake and surrounding mountains were absolutely beautiful!!! Also, it was fascinating to see the vast network of islands towards the northern part of the lake. Please help identify the islands in any of the pictures--just leave a comment below the photo.
Thanks!

Default Thanks!

Throttleman,

Thanks so much for sharing these great shots of our beautiful lake. I must admit, as great as it is near and on the water, it looks even better from well above.

Thanks again!

I'm not a pilot....but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Actually, a friend took me up. I have no idea what type of plane we were in.

Default Wonderful pictures, Throttle man!

WOW !
Your pictures are fabulous! Last Sunday was just a spectacular day! I went up to the Castle in the Clouds that day (haven't been up there in about 8 yrs), and the view was just spectactular! What a crisp, clear blue sky - and you could see for miles!
Great job, Throttle man!
P.S. I will post some of my views from the Castle soon.
