Advice For You Single Guys! (in the lakes region)
GET A PUPPY!!!
Since the addition of our new little puppy, I have determined she is a "babe magnet"!! Every time I pull up with her in the boat at any of the docks, all these bikini laden women surround me (and my puppy) and want to touch and pat her. As much as I hate to, I have to fight them off to keep from being trampled!! Of course being happily married for the past 20 years, 50+ years of age, mildly balding and just a tad overweight, I'm sure I am invisible to these young ladies and the only thing they see is my new pup! Oh well, I can dream can't I and it's O.K. to work up an appetite as long as I always come home to eat!! So for all you single guys out there, before it's too late, take it from me and go down to the local animal shelter and find yourself puppy! You won't regret it...trust me!! Dan P.S. Don't do this if your married unless you want black and blue pinch marks on your arms from the mrs! |

Same thing happened to me (sort of)
We got a Golden puppy several weeks ago and the same thing happend to me except without the bikinis. My wife joined me at the lake with the new pup and while she parked the car i held the puppy at the dock. Two women came over within minutes to say hi to Molly (that's the puppy). My wife joined us and I commented on how a puppy could be a great way to meet women. My wife chuckled knowing that it would take more than a puppy for that to work (for me).

Wilfred
Dan, Did you consider getting into a puppy costume and hanging around the docks ? It might get you a belly rub.

Fantastic
Oh that's just great. Now when I am waiting at the dock for RG with the puppy in my lap, the women will think I am trying to meet them.
