On Easter Sunday, April 8; the Mobil Gas across from the Meredith Town Docks was about 3.79/gal minus a 6-cent/gal discount if you have a Meredith Village Savings Generations card. So's, filling up your brite red, 6-gal porta-tank, which weighs about 40-lbs when filled, should run you about $23.00, plus they have a good bathroom with good hot water.....and they also sell beer and munchies and submarine sandwiches and have an atm that's no-service fee for MVSB!

Do they sell two-stroke outboard oil there.........have no clue?

Back in the pre-1974 days, it used to run about 2-dollars for the same 6-gal fill-up..........ha-ha-ha!!!.....to all the beheomoth gas-gazzl'n big boats with the gas guzzl'n V6 and V8 engines........putt-putt-putt.......what.......no money to go putt-putt-putt.......too bad - so sad!
