Saw this on WMUR
According the to the Lake Winnipesaukee Web site, the Ice-Out was declared Wednesday at 2 p.m. However I didn't see it on the web site. |

Most of the "weak ice" is on the north side of the Hole and the Wall towards the Grave Yard. Between Ragged and Cow all was broken up today. My trek from 19 mile to Cow was epic to say the least. The ice was thin enough to pass but yet in all directions.

could be tomorrow, high temps, 30 mph winds, low humidity can lead to alot of ice being pushed around.. enough to clear it up some... if they fly tomorrow afternoon, i wouldn't rule out the possibility of a record

Yesterday at about 7-pm the area from south Bear Island to Mark-Timber-Governor's and Meredith neck was about 75% iced in with a slushy layer of slush ice.
As of 4-pm today, the same area was all ice free and all turned into liquid water. What a difference a day can make.....

It is lovely out here on the island. Snake Eyes is not powering on. I will troubleshoot in the morning. I think the motherboard may be zapped. It happened about three years ago.. I will take a real picture and put it in place of the January one.... I see people are toying with me.
![]() There ice along the shore of most pf the broads side of the island. Many breakwaters have snow. By some sort of luck we have no snow or ice. I have not seen any debris... Such a gentle ice-out. Tomorrow we will put in the water and move the deck furniture out... Since it is still March, it will probably snow next week! It is good to be home again! IG

IG, That is great that you are out there in March. Just the other day I was looking at photos from when we opened the place in the spring of '99. I'm sure Charlie is smiling upon you today. Best wishes!

Not to worry IG. I'm sure once it gets a look at Ice Out tomorrow that it will fire off and come back to life!!
![]() We all understand how an webCam can be finicky in an winter isolated area environment. At the same time though, we are very thankful to you for giving us a view! Daily visits to Snake Eyes has always been a favorite of ours! Thanks To You, Terry ____________________________________

I don't think that any of the cams show any ice. So, ice out should be sometime this morning.
