The pier and the boardwalk are no where near big enough for a casino. I could imagine a lakes region casino, but a lakefront casino makes no finanical sense.

The state plans, if approved would only allow two or three casinos in the state. That rare of a license would not be wasted on a small property with any expansion being very expensive, plus add shorelands issues and it damn near impossible to see it at the Wiers.

Now at the speedway maybe...
