Now is an opportunity to have your pet featured in a national monthly magazine!

The latest Soundings boat magazine has announced a photo contest of your pets around boats and water.

(Soundings magazine features reviews of family cruising boats, boating safety, seafood, history and news-articles of interest primarily to East-coast boaters).

By e-mail or regular mail, you have until October 1st to enter three of your favorite pet photos: those selected by Soundings will be displayed in the January 2011 issue.

While there's no mention of other prizes, who cares when your pet can be featured in a national monthly publication

perhaps even on the cover?
