Talking Finally Some Luck for OCD!

WOW..........For once things go my way..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad flappers on the inside of my exhaust... Which means NOT A PROBLEM at all!!!! Finally some luck!

Thanks again to my buddy... He towed it 3 hours then 1 hour home and another 2 hours today. But better to be safe then sorry.

Now I just have to figure out how to get the Gibson Clamp on Mufflers off the existing tips so I can replace them.

I had to bang them on with a 2x4 perpendicular to the ends then hit it with a sledgehammer per Gibson's suggestion.

Any thoughts??

Either way nothing wrong with her. I will be out there on Thursday!

My suggestion would be if possible get the tip and exhaust assembly off the boat which has to happen anyways. Then assuming the exhaust goes over the tip collapse the tip inside the exhaust. Of course I have many ideas on how to do that, but the bottom line is I need to see the assembly in person to know how to do it and cause the least amount of damage to the mufflers...

Glad to here there wasn't an issue with the drive.....

Mine used to make a clicking noise from the flappers. After I ran it a few times with the new exhaust the rubber got hot enough and expanded. now it doesn't click

I was just told to knock them out completely and install flappers on my tips..

Problem is I have Gibson Clamp on Mufflers with a 6 inch diameter exit hole. I can't find 6" flappers anywhere. Any thoughts?

Cool.... Maybe see you this weekend?

** For everyone **

I plan on heading to meredith for lunch on Friday and crusing around.

Saturday most likely head to the Naswa for lunch and crusie around.

Sunday I am think I will be picking up friends over on Timber Island and will be around.

So if anyone is around and wants to meet up let me know.

This is all weather permitting of course.

An inflatable lounge chair with 2 electric motors w/joysticks to control travel. Had two of them 4 years and love them. I'll give you a wave and a holler Sunday, looks like great weather.

Wow.. That is sweet!!! I will know what to look for!

Well after a few issues yesterday that I fixed, she is in the water and lets just say the new labbed prop does its job!

Out today with the family. Surprisingly this is only the second ride my wife has ever been on in the boat and the first time ever that it is just the family.

Really really looking forward to it.. Been a dream that has been long time waiting and about to come true! See you out there.
