Let's hope so - these types of threads are a blast! Besides the fact that we get to have a peek back into the history of our beloved region, we also are treated to threads where no one is lambasting each other for their points of view or lifestyle or political affiliation or anything else! A very enjoyable post Just Sold!
I wish I could put my finger on the newspaper article from 1888. (I think that was the year.)
They found a 9’ rattlesnake that had 20 rattles on it on the island! Yikes! Glad they’re history.

Sept. 26, 1868.
A rattlesnake was recently killed at Rattlesnake island, measuring 9 feet in length and had 19 rattles.
