Default Lunar Eclipse tonight...

... if you want to stay up or get up to see it at 3.53AM.

Hey Weather People, will we be able to see it?

Wink Neater than I thought it would be...

For the folks in Florida, the eclipse is full-on (red) at 2:45-AM.

I just photographed it, but a tripod is needed to steady the camera.

A cool feature of "auto-focusing", is that a digital camera picks up many more stars than are normally visible. (Only for an instant—but it's a cool instant).

Because the sun is directly opposite the moon, the moonrise last evening was particularly brilliant.
