Default WCYC Wolfeboro CAM

Check out the web cam at

http://www.wcyc-nh.com

It takes a while to load and uses JAVA. Double click on the view to load and start the motion. It gives a good view of Wolfeboro Bay to Sewall Point , Barndoor Island and the boards. The time of day can make a difference on the quality of the view since the sun points directly at certain times of day. 11:00 is good.

At night, the lights of Sewall Rd show up. There is a pin point light to the left that is either Barndoor Island, Alton Hills or West Alton.

I think that there are circulators at the docks creating open water .

I have been watching the ducks in the open watch.

Default WOW as I was watching .....

Would you believe, as I took my first peek at this cam site a snowmobiler was skimming across the open water. He went back and forth twice as I was watching. Awesome!!!

Default Wcyc Cam

As stated in another link, there have been some problems with the link to
http://www.wcyc-nh.com/
The club is updating its web site and the CAM is part of it. Be patient with it. You do need Sun Java applets installed to see the pictures. The initial load time of the CAM is long since the motion takes some time to load. If you get the red X, the site may be down. If you get a grey picture the CAM is still loading. I often go to something else in another window then go back when it is loaded. Like so many CAM’s on the lake this one is run by club member volunteers.
It does give you a view of Wolfeboro Bay and there are no other CAMs that I know of that presently do.

Default Motion

It wasn't loading for me yesterday ... today, no problem. It's nice being able to see the motion. Today there is wind blowing snow across the ice. Brrrrr.

Wooops ---

As the skit on television (years ago) with Ruth Buzzi use to say ................. "Never Mind"

I found it on the homepage .... it didn't load the first time I hit the site.

Default Whoops...

Phantom....you're right....it was a great series of skits on SNL..but we all loved Rozanne Rozannadanna when she ranted and raved and was corrected by Jane Curtin....and said, "Never Mind!" The world surely misses Gilda Radner. Oh, yes...the web cam is great!!!

Thumbs up Alton Bay cam

This has to be the one from the Spencer-Hughes Realty building ? This is great to check on public slip availability. Plenty right now I see.

ps - Wasn't that Emily Litella on SNL ? Roseanne Roseannadanna (?) was the one who always said "It just goes to show you, it's always something." Aaaah SNL back when it was funny.
