Hi everyone,
We will be up mid week to mid week, next week Feb. 1st. Watching the forecast, it looks like we will encounter rain. I remember reading a few past threads that gave fantastic suggestions for things to do. We will have five boys ranging from 3, 8, 10, 14, & 16yrs. old. We would like to keep everyone happy. Can I bother you to post a suggestion for things to do in case we have a rain day? (even things to do on beautiful days are always welcome) I have searched for the past threads but haven't had any luck. Thankyou, Peter |

I think FunSpot goes without saying to kill a few hours. Kellerhaus for ice cream. Tilton outlets for back to school stuff. Planetarium (Concord?) If you want to leave the area, and the weather is good in your travels.. Clarks Trading Post, Kangamangus, and North Conway outlets. |

Castle in the Clouds in Moultonboro. NH Boat Museum, Libby Museum, and even Wright Museum in Wolfeboro. I think they would like the tanks and jeeps etc. there. They might even like the Clark House in Wolfeboro.

If heading towards Tilton there is also a Smitty's cinema. You can eat, drink and watch a movie all at the same time- full bar and menu. The food for theater junk food is decent. We hit the one in Sanford, Maine often when at home on the seacoast.

Steve the cruise is a nice idea. In additon to the nephews coming up,(with moms and dads) my mother and father will be along too, celebrating their 50TH wedding anniversary. We can surprise my father with this and he will be able to join us as a group. (He isn't able to do much walking)
Thanks for helping. |
