I recently purchased new Telescope patio furniture and during the recent wind storm the umbrella poles were damaged. It was bought at Ippolito's and they were not very helpful regarding info as to repairing it. They did call the manufacturer for me and they do not do repairs.
The part of the pole with the crank that joins the tilt mechanism and the lower pole were jammed together so badly that they had to be cut apart.
Does anyone know where I coult have the poles replaced (the top section is not damaged)? I have found a few web sites that claim to do this work but they are not in the area.
The forum is always helpful - just maybe someone has the answer.
Thanks.

I'm sorry you didn't have much luck at the furniture store. :( It's frustrating to spend a small fortune for an item only to have it ruined shortly thereafter. Even more frustrating to not be able to find assistance from the store where it was purchased.
I have a somewhat off-the-wall idea which might help. Have you tried contacting your insurance agent and asking if they can refer you? If this is the only item which was damaged I'm sure you didn't file a claim for it, but that doesn't mean the agent couldn't help. Most large insurance companies' claims departments maintain lists of service providers for a long list of household goods. It's possible that the agent could contact their claims department for a referral to a provider nearby. Could be worth a phone call, maybe?
Beyond that, I'm sorry I don't have any other ideas for you. Good luck, and let us know how you make out!

Pepper, thanks for the suggestion - once again the Forum is the place to go for help.
Our agent is local and may know of someone in the area - sure hope so.

Let us know if that doesn't work out, so we can research some other options if necessary! ;)

Recently when looking to replace ours, I came across this site. Not sure if they carry parts but it sure seemed comprehensive. I'm not affiliated with the site and we ended up not buying from them for other reasons. But their prices and knowledge appeared good.

Thanks for your information. I have submitted my problem to their Customer Service Dept. and hoping for the best.
Also taking Pepper's suggestion and see if that gives me any leads.
