Baxter Lake is a developed lake on the SE border of Rochester and Farmington. Chesley Mt is a small mountain in Farmington which is on private land but whose owner allows public use of of a couple of trails that lead to a nice viewspot high up on the mountain, from which one can get fine views from the Atlantic to mountains of the Sandwich Range, a little above Lake Winnipesaukee. This provides an unusually fine site for outdoor recreation to the citizens of the area, without requiring long rides to the north to hike. This photo was taken a few weeks ago.
